Very rare and beautiful example of a dated tile; (2) Monochrome tile in brown decorated with 3 nails inside a crown of thorns, on a beige surface, probably Flemish, 16th century, 9.7 x 9.7 x 2.3 cm.; (3) Polychrome decorated tile with image of moon face and stars inside circle, above vague text in tail margin, probably 16th century, 7.5 x 7.5 x 1 cm. And with 10 various other tiles, incl. very early small tiles (12th-13th century) and a Flemish haardtegel (fireplace tile) with slip decoration (lion tile). (total 13)
