Gravures de Pierre Bonnard. Printed in 1930 by R. Coulouma at Argenteuil for Au Sans Pareil at Paris (plates printed by M. Vernant), edition of 310 and a few copies (this is no. XXIX, one of 30 copies on vergé d'Arches with two extra suites of the illustrations), (6),126,(3) p., with 7 original etchings by Bonnard, the main work, the two extra suites on Japanese and Van Gelder and the original wrapper (tanned) privately bound together in halfleather, top edge gilt.

Inside an excellent copy. Inner joint fragile, leather sl. rubbed and discoloured and the paper of the binding sl. bumpy. Signed by the publisher, René Hilsum (1895-1990) in the colophon. Au Sans Pareil was founded by Hilsum in 1919, he was a friend of André Breton and the first publisher of the surrealists and of the dadaists. Au Sans Pareil ceased publishing in 1936.
