Eva Besnyö (1910-2003)

A.V.R.O. Studio in Hilversum. Side and back wall. Gelatin silver print, c. 1936. 17.5 x 23.6 cm. Stamp on verso - and 7 similar photos by Besnyö. With accompanying correspondence between architect Elling and Eva Besnyö consisting of a typed letter signed by hand, in which Besnyö commits herself to redo shoots as the light had been unfavourable, a letter of thanks from client Elling and a written card on which Besnyö announces to make recordings of the house on Rossinilaan, if the weather is good.
