[After Rembrandt] (Portrait of an old man)

Drawing in pen and ink after Rembrandt (?), 8.5 x 6.5 cm., with b.r. a probably stamped collector's monogram "PL" in black ink, framed.

Somewhat tanned; vague horizontal fold. Intriguing drawing, not examined outside frame. The monogram is somewhat reminiscent of stamped collector's marks of Peter Lely (1618-1680) (compare Lugt 2092-2094).
