[Special envelopes] "Japon. Guerre Russo-Japonaise"

(titles on mounts). Series of 6 different envelopes, all with colour woodblock print on inside and printed with various patterns with place for a postage stamp on the outside, each 19.5 x 36.5 cm (incl. bow-shaped flap).

All pre-folded (folded and closed dimensions are 8.5 x 16 cm.) but unused, affixed with corners to mounts (one corner with small tear). Splendid series of prints which only subtly appear when the envelope is opened. With 6 different images of Japanese women in traditional costume, each time before a scene from the Russo-Japanese war.
