Archival box with 15 files of highly varying sizes, with hundreds of (press) photos and many other items, partly with titles such as "Christo", "Vito Acconci" (12 photos and an exhibition catalogue), "Foto's onbekend diversen", "Losse zaken divers", "Ed Kiënder", "Koningshuis" (regarding a Nieuwe Realisten exhibition), "Energieën Robert Wilson", "Wim T. Schippers" and "Lindow/ Borlat joint actions" (photocopy of performance programmes).
The file "Losse zaken divers" includes an invitation with screen print by Wessel Couzijn signed in pencil, a collage with drawings titled "Nieuwe Realisten" and the flyer "Kill pop-art!! Robot-operas (N.J. Paik)" (1964) [see our previous auction]. The file "Christo" contains signed documents for the project "Valley Curtain" on stationery of the "Valley Curtain Corporation" as well as many press photos by Schunk-Kender of the huge, finished project and photos of other artworks by Christo. The file titled "Foto's onbekend diversen" contains more than 70 photos in colour and b/w, incl. with photographer's stamp of Philip Mechanicus and Jean Dubout, of artworks by Claes Oldenburg, Panamarenko, Emilio Prini (various projects, with annotations), Zorio, etc. Also a file with more than 70 b/w photos related to Wim Beeren's time as director at Boymans-Van Beuningen.
