Probably Dutch, c. 1800, paper leaf lacquered black and painted in gouache in black and white, front with central scene of two women and a man at a small building inside floral tendril borders, reverse with plain floral decoration, with 22 ribs of bone painted with black flowers, width 46.5 cm. and height 27 cm.

One rib loose from the leaf, the leaf sl. creased there and with a small hole; one of the outer ribs with old ticket. Attractive mourning fan, entirely b/w; (2) Fan with painted paper leaf and bone ribs. Probably Dutch, c. 1800, paper leaf painted in gouache in shades of grey, front with central scene of a man and a woman in a landscape inside floral tendril borders, reverse with plain floral decoration, with 18 (of 19) ribs of bone alternately painted black and unpainted, outer ribs painted with geometrical pattern in b/w and partly carved, width 45 cm. and height 27 cm.
