Manuscript, c. 1600, 257 numbered leaves, all pages up to leaf 223 written except for a few blank pages, written on both sides in a steady, well legible hand, preceded by an alphabetical index in the same hand of 3 p., followed by sl. later additions and an index in order of paging of 1 p. in another hand, contemporary turned vellum with central gilt oval medallion inside gilt borderlines with corner rosettes on both boards, spine with 5 gilt compartments with central rosettes and old spine title in ink: "Geschiedkundige oorsprong van meer dan 60 heerlijkheden en adelsgeslachten", 4to.

Bound with: text in French in the same hand of 45 leaves written on both sides with salutation "Charle [?] par la grace de Dieu Duc de Bourgoigne (...)". Lacks splits and ties, upper joint split, vellum sl. stained. With on title page 3 contemporary owner's names: "Ex libris fam. I. Lautem" [crossed out]; "Ex libris F. Brouvchovii/ Fam. Pauli Swanenburch".
