Documentation comprising 2 typed letters signed in pen by Christo to "Dear Wim" [Beeren], an overview of "Transatlantic Student Flights", flights to New York or San Francisco (with large discounts when mentioning the Running Fence Project), general information about the project on 3 sheets, a map on which the project has been drawn, a series of 10 photos of 21 x 25.5 cm. of the finished project, etc.

Specific archive on the Running Fence Project 1972-1976, an enormous curtain with a length of 24 miles cutting straight through Sonoma and Marin Counties in California. One of the letters signed by Christo is dated New York, January 13th. 1976 and discusses the Environmental Impact Report needed for the project, and a Committee to Stop the Running Fence, founded by local artists who opposed the project by all means necessary. The other letter is signed by Christo and Jean Claude and dated New York, June 15th 1976, and discusses the planning of the trip for Wim Beeren in order to come and view the project. The fine photos are all stamped on reverse with the information of the project and by photographer Wolfgang Volz (6x).
