Paris, chez Lattré, 1762, entirely engraved, comprising antiquely handcoloured frontispiece and title page, "avertissement" (2 p.), "catalogue des cartes" (2 p.) and 26 maps per index with antiquely coloured outlines, publisher's catalogue of maps at the end (4 p.), finely contemporaneously bound in gilt red morocco for "M.e La Marquise Fogliani" (name in border on front board), all edges gilt, 13 x 8.5 cm.
Upper joint split (tight on cords); leather with some wear and small wormholes. Attractive and rare pocket atlas with world map in two parts (East and West), the continents and general maps of the European nations, with emphasis on France and Germany, each with several partial maps.
