Titlepage with flyleaf and frontispiece loose, as well as both boards (well restorable). Plates waterstained in blank margins (text barely affected); occ. foxed. Abbey, Travel 312. The binder, Henington, worked for the India Office, among others. John Davy was the younger brother of the chemist Sir Humphry Davy, inventor of the safety mine lamp.
