voortijts bij Jabob van Lievelt wtgegaan/ Na de alderoudtste ende corectste copyen die geduckt zij. Hier siin van nieus bii gevoecht veele schone figure (...). Arnhem, Jan Janszen, 3 parts in one vol., (12),266; 191; 119[= 118] leaves, with engraved main title, two letterpress part title (for De profetien der profeten and Het Nieuwe Testament) with woodcut printer's mark, many woodcut ills. by Christoffel van Sighem, contemporary profusely blindstamped calf across wooden boards, with copper cornerpieces, central ornaments and 2 clamps, folio.

Without upper flyleaf, engraved title tender (traces of former tape at joint); Fol. 1 of the first vol. with large tear (here too traces of former tape); the first and the last vol. mostly with wormholes (also in boards, of which the wood has split); occ. waterstained/ soiled. Spine long ago covered with new leather preserving the original backstrip. Despite its defects an attractive, rare bible with to inside of the front board a finely calligraphed owner's annotation: "Vermaen-huys-boeck. Pieter Cornelissoon Draeck 1628".
