Waterstaining to tail margin; trimmed trifle short, with some loss to text in head margin of the first two plates. Vellum sl. bumpy and warped, especially the turned edge at the fore-edge. Acceptable, complete copy of the rare first Dutch edition, with intriguing owner's name "Cornelis Matin (?) 1 C 1663" in pen to flyleaf. Cf. Thijssen-Schoute 18 and Keyser, Glazemaker, 25.
