Rare portfolio of the first Rembrandt exhibition in Amsterdam, 1898. With 13 of 14 gelatin silver photos on cardboard of the exhibition. Added: 6 sepia photos with Amsterdam cityscapes, c. 1860: (1) De Waag at the Nieuwmarkt; (2) The Museum; (3) Keizersgracht at Leliegracht; (4) The Paleis; (5) The Paleis voor de Volksvlijt; (6) The Schouwburg. Each 8.5 x 5.5 cm (image) on cardboard + 4 stereo cards by amateur photographer, of which 2 on Dam square and 2 in private settings, c. 1900. Each 2x 4 x 5 cm + 1 panorama photo by amateur photographer with cityscape along the Singelgracht with view of the former Koepelkerk, c. 1920. Constructed from 3 photos. In total 22 x 8 cm. Mounted on cardboard - and 3 more.
