Turned vellum, 4to, title with vignette, 202 pp. Complete with 8 double-page plates by Romeyn de Hooghe in etching/ engraving (several partly or fully shabbily coloured); the last two with 2 images each. Vellum binding with scratches and staining. Seal in red wax and name to endpaper, last leaf tender. De Hooghe's splendid prints in the "Advis fidelle" are among the highlights of his work.
