Editio nova, libro quarto auctiorm & sparsim multis in locis emendatior. Amsterdam, D. Elzevier, 1672, (16),392 p., with engraved frontispiece, engraved portrait and 20 illustrations (19x full-page), contemporary calf with gilt and ribbed back, small 8vo.
Trifle tanned; hinges torn in and corners sl. bumped. Good copy with intriguing old (contemporary?) armorial woodcut bookplate to inside of front board. The third and last Elzevier edition (first: 1641, by L. Elzevier). Nicolaas Tulp is mostly known due to the painting "The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp" by Rembrandt.
