In general a very good, internally professionally restored copy. Title page with mild tanning and with (filled up) thin spots, folding plates occ. strengthened on folds. One text part omits p. 27-28 as always. Attractive copy with a relatively very large number of plates, of this famous satirical work on the "Mississippi bubble" and instigators John Law and Antoine Crozat. The number of plates varies with individual copies. Kress 3217 (85 plates, "there are various reasons for believing that the actual date of first publication was later than 1720"); Sabin 28932, with the observation that the number of plates can vary between 60 and 74.
