Album with ± 55 picture postcards/ photocards from the German internment camp at Berrima, Australia, c. 1915-1918. With 2 other albums of travels with the MS Fulda, Bremen, c. 1926 to Japan and other places. Altogether ± 290 photos, partly written on reverse, e.g. 'Berrima 8sten November 1918. Zur freundl. Erinnerung von unserem Zusammenleben in den Internierungskampen Singapore u. Liverpool, Berrima von 1914-18 Ih J. Schlesinger'. Also several photos of a Zeppeling airship and a visit to Japan.

Berrima internment camp for German prisoners was based on Boer War camps with a relatively large amount of freedom for its occupants.
