[Binding] Full gilt and panelled marbled calf binding,
Dutch, c. 1780, both covers with central floral ornament in rectangular green leather inlay, surrounded by two different gilt borders and corner fleurons, gilt and ribbed spine, all edges gilt and gauffered, fore edge with central blindstamped image of a bird between 2 crowns (possibly a family crest), 13 x 8 x 4 cm.
Fine little gem of a binding. On: Het boek der psalmen, nevens christelyke gezangen (...). Amsterdam, P. Meijer, J. Strander and A.
