Very good copy, with contemp. annotation on title p.: "Voor den geregte der stadt Utrecht" (possibly by Pieter de la Court himself) and a small stamp "Archief Utrecht" in lower blank margin of the title p. ("duplicaat" stamp on inside front cover). Also with printed library ticket "Bibliotheek der stad Utrecht" at foot of spine. Wildenberg 1111. First edition of the revised and considerably enlarged version of the Interest van Holland (1662). On 28 May 1669 the privilege granted earlier was withdrawn and the book was forbidden by the synod of South Holland because its contents were "offensive and injurious for the Ministers of the Gospel".
