Bound with the rare pamphlet by the States of Holland forbidding the production or sale of this work in 1669. In December of 1668, the States of Holland granted a privilege for the book for 15 years. This was revoked again in May 1669, after the Synod of South Holland objected to the work, saying it was a threat to state and church. Several endpapers renewed, a photocopy of the reference in Knuttel, "Verboden boeken in de Republiek", 1914, bound at the front, first few pp. with mild waterst. in lower right corner.
