[Polder map] Landkaart van den Thielerwaard

Verkleint, verbeeterd en doorgaans veel vermeerderd door W.A. Bachiene. Engraved by J.C. Philips and published by Johan Willem Kanneman, Zaltbommel, 1759 after an earlier drawing by Wouter Leempoel, 1699 with hydraulic corrections by Henrik Tas, 1729.

Composite (2 segments) and coloured engraving (62 x 138 cm) with an inset of the Wey Schild at Gorinchem, a large cartouche with the title and the arms of the land owners in the Tielerwaard. Various sm. tears to the edges of the paper, outside the map. Else a very good and decorative map of the area between Tiel and Gorinchem.
