Half leather with ribbed spine and gilt compartments, marbled paper over boards, folio. Very interesting sociological insight in the Surinam population.
Foxing, mostly not affecting plates, title and a few pp. with mild (water)st. in outer margin. Boards rubbed, sl. edgeworn, leather to spine ends restored.
