Very rare English "Sinterklaas" story, nicely ill. Saint Nicholas is actually portrayed like Father Christmas as we know him. (2) R. Overton. Naughty Children. Words by Robert Overton. Printed in Berlin by W. Hagelberg for W. Hagelberg in London/ New York, n.d. (ca. 1889), (20) pp., tinted lithogr. title, and chromolithogr. ills. and orig. threadbound limp pict. boards, obl. 12mo (foot of spine split). Owner's entry dated 1889 on inside frontcover. Very rare, now politically incorrect little picture book, containg two stories about "four little nigger boys", with surreptitious advertising for Sunlight Soap at the end.
