Menu card, 22 x 13.5 cm. (visible under passepartout), with a col. woodcut (self?)portrait by Dudley Hardy, above letterpress list of the 17 guests in alphabetical order, and the menu, with red "wax" seal and address "5 South Parade, Bedford Park. W." below, under passepartout and framed.

Foxed/ browned. Extremely rare occasional menu card, possibly printed in 17 copies only, the number of guests (illustrators, sculptors, an actor, an author, etc.) listed on the card. Our copy signed in pencil by thirteen of these, four names on the list struck out in pen/ pencil. Signed by René Bull (1872-1942); Edmund Dulac (1882-1953); Walter Fowler (active 1887-1902); George Frampton (1860-1928); Adrian Jones (1845-1938); Joseph William Mathews (1871-1949); Harry Nicholls (1852-1926); William Pett-Ridge (1857-1930); Frank Reynolds (1876-1953); W. Schubach (signature struck out in pencil); Arthur Strugnell; Lawson Wood (1878-1957) and Starr Wood (1870-1944). With a 14th, unidentified signature (not on the list).
