[Purmerend etc.] Collection of ca. 95 prints with views, a few maps and plans

17th-19th century (mainly 18th century), various techniques and sizes.

Comprises mainly views of Purmerend, but also of Alkmaar, Petten, Ouderkerk, Monnikendam and Uitdam. The collection includes many duplicates, but nearly all of them in variations such as printed on large/ normal paper, handcoloured/ not coloured, various editions with or without text and loose or (complete series) in quires. Including a fine view from Meisner, Schatzkästlein (ca. 1630), a fine profile by Bouttats after Peeters (1675), a plan from Boxhorn's townbook (1634, 1 handcol. and 1 uncol. copy), a plan from Tirion (ca. 1743), a map of the area to the south and west of Petten (in 3 differently handcol. variations), a view from Terwen (ca. 1860, a handcol and an uncol. copy) and a map of the Purmer and Wormer. Also comprises (complete) series of views from Rademaker, Nederlandsche Oudheeden en Gezigten and Nederlandsche en Kleefsche Oudheden, views by Bendorp after Bulthuis (1793) and from Tirion, Tegenwoordige Staat (ca. 1740). Sold as a collection of prints, not subject to return (total ca 95).
