17th-19th century (mainly 18th cent.), various techniques and sizes (mainly engr. small sized views).
Incl. many duplicates, but nearly all of them variants, printed on large and normal paper, handcol. or uncol., from various editions of Rademaker, Nederlandsche Oudheeden en Gezigten and Nederlandsche en Kleefsche Oudheden, and from Tirion, Tegenwoordige Staat (ca. 1740) etc. Comprises a finely handcol. map of Monnikendam from The Tegenwoordige Staat (ca. 1743, also present in uncol. state), a rare and very nice 17th cent. map of Medemblik incorporating the figures of Amphitrite and Callisto (2 copies), a view of the Muiderslot from Meisner, Schatzkästlein (ca. 1630), a fine profile of Monnikendam by C. Bouttats after J. Peeters (1675), a plan of Muiden from Boxhorn's townbook (1634) and a later variant of that map and a handcol. map of Waterland by Henricus Hondius (ca. 1635). Also including views of Ankeveen, Haringhuizen, Hoogkarspel, Koedijk, Knollendam, Kortenhoef, Kudelstaart, Lutkebroek, Monnikendam, Muiden, Oosthuizen, Starrenmeers-Dijk, Volendam, Vrouwenakker, Wognum, Watweide, Westblokker, Wydenes, etc. Sold as a collection of prints, not subject to return.
