Alison Knowles (New York, 1933) is a Fluxus related artist, composer and poet whose artistic practice circulates between performance, happening, graphical art, experimental music and conceptual art. She made the prints by combining a label from an orange crate and burnt shoes she found on the shore of the Bay of Naples. She and Conz often worked together, making her work a distinguished part of Conz’s collection.
