Veelwaard after the author, and 10 ills., splendidly bound in contemp. (not strictly uniform) red mor., all covers and spines richly gilt on the inside and outside, and with green mor. inlays, watered green silk endpapers, a.e.g., large 8vo.

Travel report of Quirijn Maurits Rudolph Ver Huell's journey to Ambon-Lease & the Banda Archipelago in 1817. First as a volunteer, later as captain of one of the ships, Ver Huell (1787-1860) joined the Dutch delegation which was sent to the Indonesian Archipelago in 1816 to restore Dutch government.
