*From the collection of Miepie van Baarle-Neuhaus and Nic van Baarle, both pioneers in the Toonder studios where they met and became a couple during the early 1940s. Miepie worked at colouring (and did some distribution of underground Toonder material during WW2), Nic worked for the cartoon department.
