The atlas only, without the text volumes. Occ. dustsoiled or foxed in margins; a few maps w. sm. tear near spine; map of the coast of New Holland sl. browned; one map sl. frayed in lower margin. The second edition (the original edition appeared in 1774). Contains a.o. fine (large) maps of the Pacific, the Strait of Magellan, the Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte) Islands, Tahiti, the Society Islands, New Zealand and the coast of Australia.
