18th-century sundial
Blackened pear wood sundial with brass plate. Compass rose in soft-toned colours, pointer made of steel. Signed left and bottom right on the brass plate 52 B (=David Beringer).
*Beringer worked in Nürnberg from about 1725 until the last quarter of the 18th century.
