a farm and a farmer). Drawing in black chalk, 9 x 12.5 cm, under passepartout together with the original signature "Brandhoff" clipped from the original mount that is also preserved.

(2) N.-M.-J. Chapuyy (1790-1858) (attrib.). (View of a harbour with a city-gate to the right). Drawing in black chalk, sheet size 29 x 45.5 cm, signed and dated "Chapuy 1850" in lower left corner. Dust soiled. On stiff paper w. old blindstamp of Alph. Giroux et Cie in lower left corner, pressed over (or under?) a similar blindstamp in the shape of a coat-of-arms with initials "EB" (both not in Lugt). And 4 other 19th cent. drawings, incl. 2 fine landscapes and a drawing of flowers signed "Adele Riché". (total 6)
