Kochheiser, essay by Joanna Frueh. Includes numerous colour and b/w illustrations along with some of Wilke's writings. First and only edition as the original printing files were destroyed. Good copy.
(2) Hannah Wilke, Intra-Venus. New York, Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, 1995. Softcover, 28 x 18.5 cm, 48 pp. With text by Wilke, Amelia Jones, Donald Goddard and others. Wilke died on January 28, 1993 of complications from Lymphoma. The book features her last work, a series of photographs documenting the realities of her physical and mental transformation, made in collaboration with her husband Donald Goddard. Good copy. *Hannah Wilke (1940 -1993) was an American painter, sculptor, photographer, video artist and performance artist. Her work explores issues of feminism, sexuality and femininity, often using her own body, always with enormous gusto.
