Ruimte, tijdschrift voor vrouwen in de beeldende kunst en architectuur
26 issues comprising the first 7 years (1984-1990) of the quarterly magazine for women in the visual arts, which was published until 1996.
Text mostly in Dutch, some articles translated to English. It featured (female and mostly Dutch) artists' portraits, exhibition reviews, and dealt with activist and gender issues. Towards the mid 80s the focus became more international featuring articles on artists such as Marina Abramovic, Miriam Shapiro, Sophie Calle, Louise Bourgeois and Marlene Dumas. A fine set.
