Herman Nitsch signed drawing and portrait picture

(1) Sketch-like drawing by Herman Nitsch (1938-2022), founder of Viennese Actionism and known for his visceral performance art practice. Blue pen and white paint on white sheet, 29.5 x 21 cm. Signed and dated 1974 on lower margin in pencil. Text in centre reads 'ende'. Moderate dog earing top right and bottom left, else fine. From the collection of Rudi Fuchs, art historian and art critic who worked with the artist during his directorship at the Van Abbemuseum (1975-1987).

(2) Added is a b/w photo portrait of Nitsch made by the renown Dutch photographer Desirée Dolron. Matte print, paper 33 x 26.5 cm, image 22 x 16.5 cm. The white margins of the paper are heavily damaged, the print itself is not affected (a passe-partout will hide all wear). Signed by the artist and titled on verso 'Herman Nitsch, Schloss Prinsendorf 1999' in pen. Also from the Fuchs collection. (total 2)
