C. 1900, consisting of two preliminary (title-)p. with the text surrounded by an ornamental border executed almost entirely in gold, with use of col. gouache, followed by 582 p. of text, each page within gilt border and with gilt dots in the text, a number of gilt end- or headpieces and fine gilt and gouache ornaments in margins, with 22 plain pages of text at the end, in very simple clothbacked limp board binding, sm. 8vo.
Title-p. mounted at upper cover and dam./ frayed in margins, second title-p.with tear. Otherwise with occ. closed tears, stains, missing (parts) of lvs. (restored) etc. The binding very sloppy. Sold w.a.f. Still an impressive, lovingly produced manuscript.
