Carte topographique et militaire du royaume des Pays-Bas (...). Weimar, à l'Institut Geographique, 1818. Engr. German title-p. w. inset general map, section 1 (incorp. the French title), engr. sections 2-29, 29b, 30-32, 32b and 33-36 (all according to the "Ubersichts-Tableau des Atlasses"), loose as issued in 39 plano sheets (sheet size ca 50 x 63 cm).

Without the "General-Charte" on 2 sheets (indicated on the inset-map at lower left corner) as in other copies we traced; With unidentified heraldic library stamp on German title, all other sheets except for the French title with library stamp of the "Regiments-Bibliothek des K. 1ten Cuirassier" of Prinz Carl. Otherwise, apart from some yellowed lvs. and minor defects, in very fine condition on untrimmed sheets. The "Farbenerklaerung" (indicating the provinces) is not coloured. Very rare, apparently only 2 copies in OCLC in Dutch libraries (Leyden and Utrecht, both erroneously "Militarischer" in the German title). The astonishingly detailed partial maps can be joined to create a wallmap of The Netherlands (incl. Belgium and Luxemburg) of 300 x 240 cm. (total 39 sheets)
