A few sm. internal defects. Endpapers renewed and w. stamp "Provinciaal Kerkbestuur Friesland"; leather worn along extremities and joints splitting, sides a few chafed spots. A good copy of this important edition of the Hebrew bible edited by Johannes Leusden (1624-1699), the main text in Hebrew, the introduction and glosses in Latin. With interesting Frisian provenance: The Classis van Zevenwouden (the sixth Frisian Classis), founded in 1595. -and 1 other (Johannis Buxtorfi Lexicon hebraicum et chaldaicum, Basel, 1735). (total 2)
