Extensive set of 209 A4 sized announcements sheets from 1975 to 1981, housed in 3 original cardboard boxes featuring the logo of De Appel. Important historical document of the legendary centre for performance, installations and video art founded and directed by Wies Smals from 1975 to 1983.

Featured artists include Abramovic/Ulay, Vito Acconci, Carolee Schneemann, Gina Pane, Michael Druks, Raul Marroquin, Chris Burden, Ulrike Rosenbach, Arnulf Rainer, Reindeer Werk, Barbara Bloom, Laurie Anderson, Charlemagne Palestine, General Idea, Marc Camille Chaimovicz et al. Also contains several invites for James Lee Byars events organized by De Appel, including one for a celebration on January 1 1981 at 1 a.m. in the Amsterdam Botanical Gardens.
