Andy Warhol, signed SAS passenger bag

Grey plastic travel bag, 41 x 25 cm, printed with blue logo and golden wings of Scandinavian Airlines. Signed on the top by Andy Warhol, 79. Also features a drawing of an airplane by the artist, 10 x 10 cm.

The bag itself dates from the mid 1960s. In 1968 Warhol had a major exhibition at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, for which he made a silkscreen edition featuring a SAS passengers ticket. Regular age wear on the bag, the signature has very light fading at the bottom part, but generally the drawing and signature are in good condition.
