Partly waterst. Upper hinge broken (endpapers almost loose) and bookblock loose from tailband. Rare first edition of a popular satire on the Roman Catholic Church, divided into 5 parts, each part illustrated with a biting caricature. This Dordrecht edition is even very rare, published in the same year as a more common Amsterdam edition with the frontisp in mirror image. Only a few editions are found recorded. Waller 1133 (Amst., 1671, frontispiece in mirror image); Scheepers I, 528 (bound with Hazart's reaction).
