Dated 1666-1795 and of various sizes. Many w. folds and w. sm. blank margins (apparently formerly bound in a volume), a few torn into 2 pieces, some frayed, browned or waterst. Sold w.a.f.
Comprises of, a.o.: (1) An undated warning by the "Comisarissen van de Illustre Confrerie van den Ridder St. Joris" concerning rules about wine served during meals. (2) An ordinance concerning wine and other products, issued due to the political situation between the Netherlands and France, 1747. 10p, sm. 4to. (3) An Orangist placard openly expressing sympathy for the house of Orange, which was strictly forbidden, noticed and reported by the citizens of Rijnsburg, 1786. (4-5) 2 placards w. the motto "Vryheid, Geleykheid, Broederschap" concerning rules for marriages, 1 allowing mixed marriages, both 1795. (6) A placard on the care for the poor and maintenance obligations, 1682. -and 12 others. (total 17)
