Rather poor copy: text vol. w. warped/ creased boards; the plates in the atlas waterst. in blank margins, the portfolio worn and sl. dam. Rare. With owner's entry "B. Jordens Amsterdam" on title-p. of text vol., perhaps the illustrator Bep Jordens (1903-1987). With loosely inserted prospectus for the work, issued in 1925. The book cost 20 guilders at the time. Also loosely inserted is a work on the anatomist and physician Andreas Vesalius (1514-1564). (total 4)
