Armando, filing cards from the Stedelijk Museum, 1961-1971
From the collection of Wim Beeren who was curator of the museum from the mid 60s to early 70s and director from 1985 to 2000. Four thick cardboard cards, 29 x 17.5 cm, containing archival information about works by Armando in the museum collection. Contains administrative numbers, a stamp 'werksysteem s + b', handwritten description of the work (title, artist, dimension, date, colour) and mounted b/w photographs.
Titles include 'Negen zwarte bouten op wit (1961)' with added post-it note to Wim Beeren from a Stedelijk curator, 'Twaalf bouten', 1961) 2 x 7 bouten op rood' (1961) and 'Landschap' (1971). Added 2 catalogues: Armando, Stedelijk Museum, 1974, 24 pp. Designed by Wim Crouwel. Plus Armando, 10 Studien zur Dekadenz. Sassenheim, Stichting Sikkensprijs, 1981, 14 pp. with text in Dutch by Wim Beeren. This copy has added corrections by Beeren in pen and pencil. (total 6)
