Broodthaers' artists' book is a homage to the French poet Stephane Mallarmé's modernist poem with the same title published posthumously in 1914, mimicking the original typography but replacing the words by black bars. Some deluxe versions were printed on aluminium or translucent paper. This is one of 300 copies printed on regular paper. Near mint copy of this rare and remarkable artists' book.
