Christo, Do-it-Yourself Catalogue for the Monschau Project, 1971

Catalogue meant to be transformed into a Christo artwork by the owner. Wrapped cardboard box, 17 x 24 x 5 cm, containing the Monschau catalogue as packed by Joke Veeze, according to Christo’s instruction photos and added packing materials (polypropylene fabric and ball of twine).

The package features a postal label with stamped project information, mailed stamp (Monschau 25-09-71) and signature by Christo. Published in an edition of 150 copies by Kunstkreis Monschau in conjunction with the wrapping of the local castle. This copy framed in transparent perspex box, 31 x 25 x 9 cm.
