This is the 2nd edition (the first was a book week gift), with a circulation of 3500 copies (source Janssen/ Van Stek). The unique aspect of this particular copy is the fact that the dust jacket differs from the final design. The only similarity with the final design is the photograph by WFH of "Madelon X. en Karel R.", printed on the backside of the dust jacket.
