Large French Napoleon III pendulum clock
Ca. 1870, heavy black marble base (44 x 15 cm) topped w. the clock itself in ornamental case and a seated female figure playing a lute made of composite metal. Height 38 cm, w. contemporary winding key.
Not tested (pendulum loose), but seemingly in working order. Glass at the back cracked. Statue loose, but w. the orig. pin for fastening it to the base preserved. Added: a later Art Nouveau style cast-iron clock w. wind-up mechanism. (total 2)
