Ca. 1905, various subjects, some unused, various publ., loosely inserted in fine black lacquer album w. laid-on mother of pearl dec. and ribbed, gilt back, gilt inside board edges, 28 x 23 cm, in orig. cl.-lined board box (defective).
Binding w. a few imperfections, but well-preserved for this kind of album. An old collection with a number of cards addressed to the same person in England and stamped Singapore 1905-1907. Incl. a series w. scenes of a day in the life of O-Koto San (numb. 1-9 and 11-12), 4 cards of O-Kiku-San and other nice series depicting ceremonies, processions, dances, musicians and temples.
